I love photographing a red-headed anole brown lizard that lives on a light housing outside of my garage. What fascinated me about this close-up shot was the fact that his tiny eye probably smaller than a pin head, reflects me shooting his picture hence the name "Lizard Mirror."

Shot with a Canon 70D and Canon 100 2.8L Macro lens hand held. Shot at 100mm, f5.6, 1/125, ISO 1000

I like the comp and subject, Sandy. The reflection in the eye is cool. The reflection in the eye itself looks pretty sharp, but I do think the image could be sharper overall. You don't provide your techs, including fstop and ss, so it's a little difficult to speculate as to the reason for the softness/blurring.

Thanks Scott, I get the biggest kick out of seeing such a large reflection in an eye that is so incredibly small. I updated the info. It was shot at f5.6 - probably should have gone for about f11 in that the lighting was good at the time of the shot. That probably would have brought out the detail. Check out the larger shot of this particular guy in my gallery that was shot at f14 - I love how the detail came out on that particular shot!
