The Last Berry

This grizzly bear was harvesting the last of the fall berries. I am not sure what type of berry was on the bushes, but the bear seemed to be enjoying the harvest. This photo was taken in Glacier National Park.

Comments, critique and suggestions always welcome.

Happy Shooting
Jack

Tech stuff: Canon5D III, Canon EF500mm/f4L IS, f/5.6, 1/500 sec, ISO-400, tripod. Cropped 10% from left and top. Processed with Lightroom.

Jack,

Wonderful pose on this one, I think it could be improved by a tad more contrast. :toast:

A beautiful specimen you have here. I guess I don't think about the grizzlies as omnivores! This is a great pose and nice comp. Very well done. Chet

The pose is terrific, and my only wish is that it could have been in a less cluttered setting with some directional light. Perhaps some very gentle selective tweaks in contrast and sharpening on the subject would make it pop a little more.
