It does have a disgruntled look, doesn't it, John. Excellent detail and I love the rock it's perched on-lots of character. Your dof is perfect. Aorry to hear about dropping your lens-from this image it must be tack sharp.

Interesting about the perch .I thought everyone would hate it !!
Thats the value of forums like this one- they teach you so much about people and their varying likes and dislikes. This goes to show that nothing is cut and dried. Its like folks who like warm images- its the photographers choice . If a pic is a bit red - so what? Food for thought indeed.
