I found these nice grass hummocks along the banks of the Merced River in Yosemite valley. I liked the curves and the soft Autumn colors.

Beautiful intimate scene. Excellent lines and colors and the leaves are a great element. Real sweet.

Amazing how such a simple scene when well-composed can look so appealing.

The curves are what is most appealing for me too. A very nice find Preston!

Very cool! Reminds me of Benway's stuff, and i mean that as a compliment. I really like a square crop taking some off the top. :toast:

Preston, it seems we both have an eye for intimate scenes, so you know right off, I find it very appealing. Really like the natural color, comp and sweeping lines of the grasses. Beautifully seen and presented.

Lots of interesting flow in the grasses punctuated well by the fallen leaves. What a fine job of seeing.

Wonderful textures of the grasses for me, and nice anchoring by the rock. I really enjoy this intimate image.

Nice shot Preston. I like the shot. I too might like the suggested crop off the top making the leaf more dominant and the overall flow maybe better. :toast:
