Iced Waves

I took this icy abstract while hiking Joffre Group peaks area in BC. I wouldn't be myself without going inside one of the crevasses at the edge of Anniversary Glacier, to take some photos. This particular crevasse ended with tunnel. In the summer when snow and ice melt, water is rushing down through this tunnel. This photo was taken in mid November. It was too cold for water to flow but ice formations created the illusion of being surrounded by frozen waves.

Single file with Nikon D800 processed mostly in Lightroom.

I like it. A bit confusing, but that's appropriate for the subject. My only reservation is the bright portion at the very top' kind of clashes a bit with the rest of the scene. But it does remind me of a frozen surf--so mission accomplished!

Some wild tunnel, Artur. Beautiful colors in it whatever the season. I can imagine this is a tough one to exposure properly. Definitely a fun image to look at and explore.

Really enjoy all the blue shades in this Artur and a very interesting comp also. The bright area at the top is a bit distracting but a really nice concept and image.

I agree with the others about the bright spot at the top, that's the first thing that caught my eye. If you could somehow tone this down I think the overall image would be much improved.
