I got out on the incoming edge of the storm system coming through hoping to get a colorful sunrise but the color stayed only on the horizon. The cloud patterns did help for interest though.

Nikon D200, Sigma 10-20@15mm, 5 seconds@f11, Grad ND, tripod.

While color on the clouds was what you were after, this isn't bad at all. The clouds are quite interesting and you do have some nice color along the horizon. Only suggestion would be to crop some off the bottom as its pretty dark and not much going on there.

I love the clouds....the bottom is a tad to dark for my taste and I also would crop a bit from it. The colors are bit too blue for me...

Really nice image Bob, the shape and color of the clouds really make the scene.

You have produced really striking image here. The best composition are always the simplest, and your arrangement with dramatic sky within the frame certainly has impact. Asymmetrical arrangement creates excellent balance and harmony. The reflections on the water surface add nice hue to the scene. Well done Bob. :toast:
P.s. Reading Bill comment, I do not agree. On my screen the bottom part is just OK, not very dark; I like it as it is.
