Two black-tails at the local nature preserve on Friday. Both are looking at something. The buck maybe looking for another buck (competitor) or perhaps me (not a competitor)! This is some of the open habitat we have here with grasses and oak trees. This is about as open an opportunity I get. Nothing that needs to be cloned out or worse cause it to go to the trash bin. A pause in the action but not for long. A nice mature buck just starting his peak development years. I didn't do much to this in LR5 except for some minor tweaks on some of the sliders to get it closer to reality. Comments and critiques are appreciated.

I also like your composition Peter, the tree in the background is an excellent framing element. Great mix of light. Almost forgot to mention the fine poses the deer gave you. Fine looking photo.

Nice job, Peter. It is good to have the buck and doe posing in the same frame!
