Siblings

I came upon this pair of fawns early one morning last week. Sun just starting to make it through the trees. Unusual to find 2 deer bedded down together like this. Mom was nearby but I expect the fact that they were siblings had a lot to do with it. I did some minor adjustments to WB, saturation, contrast, etc. I would have liked to crop some off the bottom but there really wasn't anything else to crop to rebalance the photo so I left it as it was. Removed a couple of pieces of vegetation that were objectionable (to me anyway). Critiques and comments are most welcome.

Nice composition, Peter, though I see what you mean about the bottom. The sunlight down there kind of distracts and you could darken the one patch of it a trifle.

Nice shot Peter. I also think you could crop off some of the bottom and it would improve the photo. It is a bit soft. Still a nice one. Thanks for sharing.

A mild crop from the bottom wouldn't hurt anything, IMO. The closer fawn is a little soft, but still a sweet picture.

Very nice image. Nothing cuter than fawns. I agree with the earlier comments, you may wish to try some different crops.

Cute, as noted. I think the focus is behind the main viewing area, comparing the brush behind with the near fawn.
