A picture of the same goose on the photo I posted 2 days ago. The bird is looking for a landing spot on this very crowded water body with thousands of geese on it!

Very nice head on view and a good exposure in what looks like bright light. Some would consider the background birds distracting but the shot gives a nice feel for the way you usually see this species in large flocks.

Nice landing image. I like that the subject is the only bird even slightly in focus. Our western snow geese have a much redder bill at maturity than this individual. Thanks for posting, Dave
