Scissortail in flight

After finding a scissor-tailed flycatcher nest I was able to get some flight shots of the adults flying to and from the nest. Unfortunately the nest was obscured by foilage and branches so I was unable to get good shots of the babies but I was pretty happy with this flight shot of the daddy scissortail.

Excellent, Robert. Beautiful detail and the bit of wing blur adds to the image.

Great flight capture of this beautiful flycatcher Robert  Looks like one of those birds that just getting him into the view finder would be challenge, much less getting sharp photo.

Excellent Work!

Neat shot of an unusual bird Robert. With is being so splayed out it would have been a real task to get every extremity ion sharp focus but your capture is nice and sharp on the head and neck. :toast:

This is a really cool wing and tail position Robert. While the head is reasonably sharp I do wish that the image in general were sharper. These birds fly so fast I would have tried to get my shutter up around 1/2000. Still a fine image. :toast:
