This Oryx leads a strange life inasmuch as it lives with a herd of Sables!
Unfortunately I could not get any decent images of him in the herd. After he discovered the rest of the herd had left the waterhole, he trotted of to join them again,
Taken near Kennedy 2 waterhole, Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe.
EOS 1SX
200-400 mm with 1.4 EX at 560mm
F6.3
ISO 800
1/6400

Greatshot. It looks like he's dancing.

The timing and pose are excellent. The larger view is needed to appreciate this one better.

Thanks everybody for your comments it certainly needs to be viewed large as it is a considerable crop, only around 35% of original RAW, must be the 1DX
