Kitchen Creek disappears down one of the falls, while a nearby tree has paid the price for trying to take root on rock.

Seeking any and all advice and comments. Thanks in advance.

Pretty. For me, the main story is in the leaning tree. That portion of the image has some wonderful lines and beautiful color plus the "story" of the tree itself. Nice capture

I don't know if leading the eye into the bottom of the tipped tree works for me for a focal point. I sure hope to get to Rickett's Glen someday.

The tipped tree grabs my attention Ronald, and tells the story of the tree. If your vision of this image is to tell that story, I think it worked for you.

There is some nice autumn color here. But for me, the fallen tree is a major distraction in this composition. If you live nearby and can return here easily, I'd suggest going for some compositions without that tree, and including more in the foreground. Some of your other recent compositions from here are significantly better. It looks like this place has great potential.

For me this is all about the tree and the surrounding fall foliage, Ronald. This is just a suggestion of course; but if this were mine I would crop the falls off entirely to place more emphasis on the tree and it's story. I remember seeing that tree during my last visit.
