I could crop this tighter, but left a little more room for the butterfly because it was so clean and colorful.

Please see the large version.

Sanjay, this is a nice picture, with all parts of the subject in sharp focus. I like the suggestion that you had hinted at, which is to crop out much of the top of the image. It might bring out more of the butterfly's color.

Beautiful, Sanjay. I like the purple flowers against the contrasting yellow-green bg. Notwithstanding how nice the bg is, I'd crop this square.

Love the colour contrasts here - very complimentary. Not so sure about the crop - IMO, no need for all that dead space at the top. Don't be afraid to try a less-traditional square-ish crop. This might work very well here.
Lovely image -

Good focus and I like the purple flower perch :toast:

Thanks everyone. Looks like the crop is the way to go, till I get a request for a magazine cover.

Here is the cropped version.

Thanks for taking a look and giving me your feedback. I appreciate it.

Sanjay, I like the great detail in the monarch and the colour contrasts. The crop in the repost is a nice improvement. Well done!
