Flowing In Color

I captured these ducks back in 2010 as they made their way along the river at the back of my property here in Virginia. It was fall and for me the colors on the water makes this photo!
Canon 7D, 100-400L @ 210mm, 1/640sec, f/9, iso640, handheld and cropped for composition.
C&C welcome

Great fall scene, David. The colors in the bank and their reflection in the water could almost make a nice simple image in itself. But the line of mallards and their water wake make a fine contrast and add so much to this photo. The green feels almost a bit oversaturated. . .but it certainly does give some extra "pop" to this image.

Thanks for the comments. There was no color adjustments at all. I did set the black point which darkened the photo some.

The red and green foliage here really pops, David. I also like the implied motion of the ducks from their wakes. For me, the male duck's heads blend in a bit too well, especially the leader. I think dodging the ducks a bit would let them play a bigger role in the image. I'm not sure what software you're using, but Adobe (both PS and LR) add quite a bit of saturation as you darken and image and at times I find that to be too much (but that's a personal preference).
