James Blue's post from Madagascar inspired me to look for an image from Madagascar featuring "light".
Here is an image of a "dancing" Sifaka taken in an open area of Palmarium Lodge,East Madagascar.

EOS 1DX
70-200mm MkII at 155 mm
F2.8
ISO 800
1/2000
Taken laying on the sand

what a great image! You have stopped the action nicely....I like the grains of sand frozen in midair. And the light component is just right, as you wanted it. :wavey:

Nice action here but the patchy background distracts from your main subject.

Ken, great capture in some nice light! Those Cocquerel's are a very pretty Sifaka, especially when the red/rust coloration is highlighted. I just spent a couple days shooting Diademad Sifaka's....what a beautiful lemur they are!

Thanks very much for your comments, I agree the BG is not exactly conducive.
James,
Nice to see some Diameds they are really beautiful, hope they were not as high up as the few we saw

An interesting shot, as I have always thought that only Verreaux's exhibit this behaviour. I agree the background is not ideal, but it is the background you often get in the forest and you have made the best of it here.
