Hi Basri,
That is SOOOOO COOL! Fantastic image, well done. It makes me keep going back to have another look at the larger version

Interesting technique Basri. How many flash units for this BTW?
The milky opaque drop is set off nicely with the plate, nice.
My only SUGGESTION FOR ANOTHER LOOK would be to zoom in & brush out the bit of flash reflections I see there.
Since it's an opaque color, it would blend very well.
Great post

Hi Basri,
With respect to our email exchange..
I just used the brush tool in Adobe PS to remove and smooth out the flash points of light.

Basri, the technical skill and set up show through on this image. Well done. The only possible change that I would consider is to see what a vertical portrait shot would look like.

Expertly done and a cool result, Basri.
However, because this is not a close up of a nature image, as required for this gallery, I am going to move it to the POP gallery.

Very cool! I think this is the first time, I may disagree with Howard. I think the flash points add a little "glitter" to the image and , also, give the droplet depth......much like the catch-light in an animal's eye or that off of a water droplet.

Excellent Basri, however I like the first image more, the highlights add sparkle, the second image looks dull.

Excellent! I very much agree with Reno about a preference for the first image. I find it has much more life and vibrance. The second looks dull and flat in comparison to my eye.
