This shot was taken in Glencoe Village summer 2007, i arrived that place and didn't know where to go, so i just saw this scene while hiking there and give it a shot, the weather wasn't helpful as it rains time to time unexpected and i try to protect myself because i didn't carry an umbrella, but at the end this scene is worth the walk around there

Beautifully muted colors works well with the foreboding cloud formation. Some may think the barn is a distraction, but I like the little peek of red it provides.

Thank you very much, Daniel!

Well, there are subjects we can all agree that they distract, but not everything or all subjects must be distraction, for example in this shot, that little red peek add to the shot more than it distract it, and everyone is free to think what is distracting them and what's not.

Tereq, I like where you placed the sharpest peak in the scene. The lean of the grass in the foreground draws my eyes to the peak, which is the main subject.

Thank you very much!

Great forboding mood here Tareq. The large version is especially nice. I wish the blurred foreground grasses were in focus, but that's pretty minor. And for me, the barn adds a nice touch of warm color and scale to the composition. Overall, nice image!
