Looking for your thoughts, impressions, and criticisms for this image.

I was going back through some old images in my hard drive and saw the potential with this one. Captured it on a particularly windy day, resulting in some really awesome conditions. Same day that I shot this.

Here is a large version.

Thanks!

A striking, graphic image with great, warm colors. Might try cropping out the sky too.

Nice flowing line through the dunes and wonderful motion in the scene Ted. Like the warm tones and shadow detail you kept. Maybe a little darker in the back round area but really great just as it is. :toast:

Gorgeous Ted. Very painterly. The subtle differences in color really draw me in and hold my attention and the texture in the sand is breathtaking. Large version is especially nice.

Love the wind blown sand and sinuous dune lines. I could see burning down the bg a bit but this is nice as is.

This is visual poetry to me, Ted, pure visual poetry. Incredible.

This is amazing. Very powerful image...this is the sort of image we all wish was hiding on our hard drives.

I like it. It's a perspective of dunes we don't often see.

Unusual and sureal image, Ted. The lines and highlights throughout the scene are very striking. I like this.

Very cool Ted! Looks almost like caramel pudding. Love the sinuous lines.

As always looking great Ted. :toast:

The top portion, to me, looks a little strange and crunchy in the highlights here. I think maybe those softened and mellowed might benefit it?
