With colors peaking in Montana's Paradise Valley, I went down to the Yellowstone River to catch a sunset only to have the clouds evaporate during the last hour of the day. That was nicely compensated for as this woman fished her way into this nice position against the trees and the mountains. In hindsight, I wish I'd gotten at least one shot that included the end of the line in the water, but I do find myself liking the tension added by not seeing the end of the line. I'd particularly like to hear other's thoughts on having the end of the line in or out of the picture. (5D3, 24-70 f2.8 @ 70mm, 1/40 s, f/13, iso 200, tripod)

You obviously have an eye, and it immediately saw the possibilities in this image. The colors would have been the first thing to draw me to this image if I were out with my camera. Really an excellent photo, and is a good example of landscape mode. Superb light and the excellent reflections also lends a lovely contrast to the photo. I like to see the fisher in the water, adding nice life to the scene. Well done.
