Enrique - I like your idea of having my eyes travel down the waterway. The lighter rocks and water down there are effective for this. I think the FG plant might be a little too in the way though. The blurred plant is a little jarring - not sure if you intended the selective focus here. There is also a blue patch near the plant that I am having a difficult time figuring out what it is. If you can get back there, I think the location has some potential.

I agree that the out of focus foreground intrudes into, and breaks up, the nice flow behind it.
