Bill: A very interesting take on the GoldFinch. Pulling this off with Flash is pretty challenging! While I like the concept, the bird is lacking detail. It looks like noise reduction more than it does motion to my eyes. I'm making an assumption so I may be incorrect. At ISO 4000, even with the Mark III (which is fabulous!!), this looks like it has had NR applied. Excellent effort.

Nice pose, BG and color pallette but it does look kind of mushy. Keith is probably right about NR. I have noticed a similar result when experimenting with noise reduction.
