The title reveals the location in Mt Rainier NP. We snuck in yesterday...hehe! Hey it's our park and we weren't the only ones who engaged in a little harmless civil disobediance. Pretty staright forward shot here. Trying to get a handle on manually focusing the Tokina 12-24 since it doesn't AF on the D7000. It's been frustrating since the lens has a very short throw. Thanks for looking and all critiques welcome of course.

classic! The dark area in the bottom right works for me. The reflection in the water on the left is a nice detail. I like it a lot

I think that little pool anchors the scene nicely. Nice shot Bruce.

It does feel a little dark to me.

A wonderful waterfall scene, Bruce, and I enjoyed your large version. Like Peter and Mark I think the little pool looks great here.
I manual focus all most all of my shots with the use of live view and zooming in for fine tuning. Pretty amazing what just a slight movement of the focus ring does. Nice work on this!

The waterfall really pops out from the darker surroundings. I like this a lot. The composition is very good and the colors are handled very well.

The large version with it's slightly darker background really allows the nice detail throughout to come through. I like the comp as well as the natural color. Beautiful scene and image.

Beautiful shot and well composed. I feel the image is perhaps a bit dark. Overall, a very nice image Bruce.

Definitely the shot of the day! I think I have a few at this angle, but without the little pool in the frame. Nicely done man!

Loved this trail Bruce, and I had a great day being civilly disobedient with you...

Hey, Bruce...glad to find this after seeing Joe's version! Good framing in a corner to corner shot! It all looks sharp ... Nice exposure too. Nothing blown badly. I want the water stream a bit larger in the frame...my only thought. See you soon!

I'm jealous. I was going to head to MRNP last weekend, but didn't because of the shutdown. Little did I know I could have been sneaking around with you two hooligans! Nice capture here Bruce. I too would brighten the shadows just a tad, and slight crop off the top might be worth playing with.
