Yet another image of what had become our most regular Leopard ever, the previous evening she had killed an Impala and was sharing it with her young cub, unfortunately she had not taken the carcass up a tree. Very early the following morning we returned to the scene of the crime and found a Hyena busily disposing of the substantial remains of the kill, after some time the Hyena carried off the majority of the body. This leg was left for Mum, what happened to the leg after she picked it up will be revealed later.

Ken, a good picture of reality in the wild. Good exposure and detail. I am eager for the next "chapter" about what happened to the leg.

Must have been an amazing scene to witness and photograph first hand, we'll just have to be satisfied to enjoy the experience vicariously through the excellent photo. That new lens is getting a great workout. No nits from me Ken, great light and all captured very well.

Lovely light. This one would work well in a vertical presentation, too.
