One of our Estrildid finches here in Australia (Far North Queensland).

This species inhabits cane and grassland near the coast.

Beautiful enough to pass as a painting. I love the comp. Greg and that coupled with the main subjects pose and detail make this over the top! Congrats!

Professional looking stuff Greg, really evident in the larger view. Love the red-green color scheme. The perch is very interesting and artistic.
