One More Tricolor
by Bill Leggett
Knowing that y'all are probably getting bored by these, it's probably the last of this species I'll be posting for a while. Bayou Sauvage has been particularly productive for me this season, in fact the best in recent years for a nice variety of waders. I went over there yesterday to beat the approach of TS Karen, and found a few birds browsing in the morning breeze. This adult was admittedly framed a bit tight, so I took some artistic license to add a bit of canvas at the right and up top. Not critically sharp at the slower shutter speed as it was in motion in soft sunlight, but I liked the light and posture of this beauty. Thankfully, tricolors have been very cooperative this year.
