There and Back Again

Hi everyone! Here's another image from our recent starling encounter. In my previous image the flock was coming in for a landing, so I decided to post one of them leaving. That flock honestly had to be one of the biggest ones I've ever seen! It was awesome watching them fly every which way in one big movement as a group.

Thanks for lookin'! :wavey:

Well, the thumbnail looked like some sort of abstract but as soon as I opened it I knew it was part of the series you guys have been posting. This is really neat with the interesting BG adding lots to this image. Love all the birds and the detail in their wings. Good thing you cranked up the SS for this. Great series on a species that is usually looked down on. FYI: in the UK, starlings and Eng. sparrows are on the verge of being endangered.

Well done! I like this better than the other, mostly because the BG is better balanced.

The shots get better and better :toast: . I love the way the flock is documented and the different layers of BG colors add enormously to the image ! Really, really pleasant shot to look at ! Grtz, Hans
