A little sunshine teased me outside. Set up my black drop-cloth in the shade to shoot this. It is the last healthy looking bloom. The remaining are fading and spotted or brown. The leaves are a nice blend of burnt red and green.

Nikon d800e and Zeiss 100mm on tripod and f22 at about 1/5 sec

This is quite stunning. In particular, I like the leaves and their varied orientations. Lovely bloom as well. Nicely done

Ken - Just terrific

- Love the soft lighting and the colors on the bloom and the leaves (dual colored). The lack of stem beyond the lower cluster of leaves looks a bit odd but as an artistic take really works for me.

Excellent image, Ken! The light is amazing and you have done an awesome job capturing it. Great color and sharpness in the leaves and flowers. Very pleasing image overall.
