Thanks for your comments on my last image posting.

This is an older image from Rock Creek, in the Sierra, that I recently reworked. I owe Harley thanks for pointing out some color tweaks that made a big difference.

This is the same meadow as this image.

Tachihara 4x5
135mm Fujinon, if I recall correctly
Velvia 100F
October 2004.

Please see large version.

Your comments and critiques are always appreciated.

Simply wonderful. The curve of golden grass is such a nice "eye-catcher" and the still portion of the water adds depth and mystery for an emotional pull. Excellent composition and a beautiful capture.

Beautiful image Preston. I really like the peaceful feeling you captured here. My only nit is with the submerged semi-horizontal log in the upper right section of the water (near the edge of the grass reflection). It looks like it would be a difficult one to fix though! Overall this is an excellent image, but my eye keeps moving to that submerged log, so I figured I would let you know.

Hmmmmm....looks like a familiar place, Preston. Nice take on this locale. The larger version is the ticket here for excellent detail and global view of the scene. No suggested changes that I can see.
