This grizzly bear in Denali NP, was not bothered by the photographers in the bus, but was concentrating on the berries.

The thumbnail view is very enticing with the complementary red-green colors and large bear nicely positioned in the frame. The larger views are impacted by deep shadows that hide the face. I assume you have tried to lighten those shadows in ps, lightroom, etc.? Always exciting to see a big grizz in the wild like this!

Worked on the shadows, not sure if it helped. Thanks for your comment

Hey John, it helped a little. I guess it would have been better if the bear was looking straight ahead to illuminate the eye, but that's the way it goes sometimes.

As Gary said, the thumbnail view made me want to see the full size image.
Unfortunately the sharpness/detail on the bear is not great with most of its face lost in shadows and there appears to be a heavy blue cast.
Your re-post does improve the image John but I think that the original image quality is just not up to it. A real shame because the bear amongst the colourful foreground could have been a great image.

Lovely setting and nice bear. Comp works fine. I agree with issues of shadow and contrast and also with a sense of slightly off color cast.
