Pine tree close-up

I was hiking for five days in this reserve and found several nice pine abstracts. This was one of them, and it even has some yellow in it. The surface was a bit curvy, so this became a focus stack of fifteen pics.

15 x f/9, 1/5s, ISO 200, 100 mm. Rogen nature reserve, Sweden.

C&C welcome, I included a larger version.

Roel, It almost looks like a satellite photo of a dry streambed. Nice abstract. :toast:

Interesting abstract. I would never have known that it was a pine tree without the title. For a more abstract version, I would suggest turning up the saturation and maybe working the color balance toward the warmer side.

Good eye to see the nice abstract pattern, and excellent work to capture it in such detail, Roel. Fine image.

Lovely abstract pattern, Roel, with some very nice textures. Excellent stacking too.

Nice abstract of the pine Roel. One would not know unless you told its a pine...
