Another photo taken at the Scarborough Bluffs of the GRHE, 09/24/13. The angle and the expression looked funny like the bird had no neck and was staring back at me. Was a tough shot as the bird flew in to a shaded area (saved by RAW). Photo was edited and cropped in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.

Cool shot with great eye contact John, image quality looks good depsite high iso. I don't know if a lower angle was possible and might have gotten you a better bg.
