Green Heron

This photo was taken at the Scarborough Bluffs in the morning. 09/24/2013. When I was walking down the trail out of no where a BEKF, a GRBH, and the GRHE flew out as I approached. I kept with the GRHE and was able to get close enough to take a good shot. This photo was cropped and edited with Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.

Nice John

I like how the heron stands out from the BG. The log on the left does tend to lead your eye out of the photo, not sure if cropping it out would make a difference. Thanks for sharing.

I like how the narrow DOF helps the Green Heron stand out from the rather busy BG.
