Here's to Little Bucks

Out this am after oversleeping a bit but did manage to arrive about sunrise. At the nature center there was mist in the field behind me here where I caught up with this young buck. He seemed to be giving me a "not you again" look and he calmly returned to feeding. So I hung around for a few minutes and got some shots of which I thought this was the best. I saw some larger bucks today as well but I sort of liked this one. I've done absolutely nothing to it except resize and sharpen. Comments and critiques welcomed.

Nice catch, Peter! The twisted tree trunks make the centered placement of the deer work quite well, imo.

Very nice Peter. Caught him in a nice pose. Have you thought of trying to make this a vertical? I think it would work well and reduce some of the busy surroundings. thanks for sharing.

Peter, This one is better than the big buck. By far. I think you need to up your saturation a bit and remember to watch for foliage in front of your subject. You have positioned this guy much better and your crop is tighter giving some intimacy. The deer's posture is much better. We're still missing some catch light and your horizon is tilted a bit to the right, but like I say this one is a better go.
