Really nice shot. Looks like you were able to dodge the tourists just fine. I also like the water texture and the splash in the rear. Good stuff!

Great action shot Patrick.
Water makes a super background and the running legs and water spray really tell the story. The light is great too giving your puffin wonderful warm colours. Top shot.

I, too, like the beautiful color, the positioning of the puffin and the texture of the water; but what impresses me is your having captured this handheld, on a boat full of people presumably all of whom were attempting to get a photo of the same bird. And, "wait that's not all," as the infomercials brag: you took it at 850mm, and it is sharp.
