Bald Eagle, Olympic Mtns

Another photo from the Hood Canal this spring. John J. requested a wider view of the background with an eagle smaller in the frame. This one is perhaps my favorite that includes some of the dramatic Olympic Mountain Range in the background.

Canon MKIV, 600mm, 1/2000, f10, ISO 640, cropped 20% off right side for composition.

This is a really nice photo, Ken. The soaring and majestic eagle against the backdrop of the Olympics. First rate stuff. Well captured and composed. For me the ratio of the eagle to the BG is just right, so I'm glad you took John's suggestion and posted this.

Beautiful shot of a soaring American Bald Eagle. I do like the background of the snow covered mountains, perhaps a crop from the left might change the composition.
