Another shot from Wild Goose Island in Glacier National Park. This was taken as the sun was going behind the mountain on the right. I was on the shore shooting across the lake. Thanks for your comments and critiques because then help me improve my photography.

Nice near to far comp, Richard. The larger image is much better. I am wondering if you could bring up the sky and lake colors that are subtly shown here. Nice elements in this one and I enjoy looking at it. Chet

I like the light on the water and the left-most part of the image, but the dark area on the right and the detail-less sky there keep me having this one really work for me.

Aside from the really hot ride side near the sun, wonderful lighting and mood. I might select the completely blown out area and try filling it with some of the color / texture of the nearby clouds. A major dust spot in the central sky to clean up.

I think the composition is quite well laid out. The only thing I am wanting is better light. But you did very well with what you had. Now about those bears! Literally I had two major dangerous bear encounters right here this year. Bring that mace!
