A cosmos springing into life on a sunny, late summer day. I've cloned out a few pollen specks.

Canon 7D, Tamron 55-200mm lens @ 108mm, 1/640 sec @ f 7.1, -1ev, ISO 400, hh.

Ian: Really like how you composed this and the buds as supporting elements. Well seen and captured. >=))>

A very attractive image, Ian, best when viewed large.

Just beautiful Ian! You have chosen a very nice specimen; the composition and the background are great.
Take care.

Ian - Nice with some nice light there highlighting the details in the center. This may not be your strongest composition when it comes to the Cosmos Flower but I like the shot anyways.

I love the color of the flower Ian, and the BG is very nice. For me, the comp here is just not working - I feel quite a bit of tension from the comp.

Very nice comp and beautiful soft bg! I love the "pose" of the flower. I also love the way the bud on the right side is just kind of fading into the bg.

Hi Ian :wavey: I am enthralled with the soft light and color of the background and buds, the vivid color and light on the cosmos are not in harmony with them. . but still a very fine presentation
