Honey bee on Showy Stonecrop. It did not move a lot, maybe started dying.

D90, 28-105mm, f/16, 1/250, ISO400, -0.3 EV, full frame.

Love this one, Yun. Very pretty flower and the honeybee is super sharp (and looking very much alive). The flowers are pretty and the bee makes the image extraordinary. :toast:

A very beautiful image, Yun ! The bee is splendidly sharp and the dof is perfect, but it is the composition and the spread of lovely pink flowers in which it feeds that make this so good.

The warm colors are great and your plane of focus is perfect. Well done.

If I had landed there, I wouldn't move much either. Very nice photograph. I just love seeing honeybees doing their work.

Outstanding image, especially when viewing the larger image. The detail in the flower is stunning. Great work! :toast:

Thanks for the Weekly Pick and all your kind feedback. It has been a year since I joined the NPN. I’d like to thank all macro (and flora) shooters for your helpful comments and encouragement.
