Strawberry Swirl

With only 15 min before sundown and a bellyful of the most amazing hamburger ever, I scurried over to this new location. First time I had ever set sights on this place and the pool reflecting the crazy clouds stood out to me immediately. Love to get your feedback on this one. It feels a bit flat and washed out to me...

Lace,

This is a nice pano. I do think the contrast in the white water could be tweaked up a bit and brightened just a little. You could also try working the contrast in the sky, too. The blacks look pretty good, so the mids and high values are where you might consider making some tweaks. The composition works for me.

The composition is great. The sky does seem a little flat and could maybe do with a bit more contrast, but its nice as is. I love the sweetness of the pink in the clouds...like cotton candy.

I like the pano format and composition Lace but I agree with Preston's comments. The image appears a bit flat to me. A little tweaking and this would be very nice. Well done.

The top 2/3 of the image is the real draw. I don't feel there is enough texture or contrast in the water. If you can get more contrast then I feel it will really stand out out more. Looks like a nice area.

Looked at your portfolio and makes me look forward to my return trip to Kauai this winter. A beautiful place for sure.
