Welcome back, Ken!

I love those pools and the cascades--great texture and shapes. I do find that the streak of foam at the top tends to lead me out of the very interesting lower portion of the image. Also, and I don't know if it's possible, but you might try to pull a little more detail out of the very dark areas, and burn down the spindly tree trunk on the left. I like the maple and fir(?) trees since they add a nice touch of soft color.

A very unique stream flow, well presented. Can you tell us anything about the erosion and what kind of rock this is? It looks sedimentary. I am fascinated by this! :toast:

fabulous composition. I could get lost in this one for a while. Cloning some leaves to keep the foam from leaving the frame might help. it doesn't both me, but it's worth playing with.

This is surreal. Would love to know more how you achieved this spectacular effect. Techs of the shot? Post secrets, only if you want to share them. Really looking forward to seeing more of your stuff. :toast:

Wow, what a unique place. Can't even speculate on the geological process that took place. Looks like a gigantic drill press went to town. The flow of water and you SS make for a dramatic scene. I like your choice here. Colors look fine and I agree about trying to pull some more detail out of the darker areas.

Welcome back. This is superb Ken, even if it appears to be a tad dark on my monitor. Your composition is so appealing, your chosen shutter speed was perfect. Large version is a must see!!

Very nice Ken. I have photographed this many times and it is always such an interesting place to visit.
I know that this rock is Nonsuch Shale and was formed at the bottom of a lakebed something like a billion years ago. The rocks swirling around in the rapids carved out these crenelations over a long period of time. Very cool!

Fantastic image for me Ken, stunning graphic quality. Your choice of shutter speed is spot to my eye and shows the dynamics of the flow interestingly, wonderfully complemented by the shapes of the rocks.
