Nice effort here, Daniel. Fawns are notoriously difficult to get good clear shots of. You did well. The color and sharpness on the fawn look pretty good to me. Compositionally, there are a few things you could have done to make a stronger image if you had the ability to move. A POV more to the left might have reduced the impact of that danged branch across his body. Also, if you could have backed up and given more room at the bottom for his feet that would have helped. Fawns are tough and it's always fun to actually get some shots of one.

Pros: Well positioned with good detail. Cons: Too busy a BG/FG. Might have gotten more of the fawn by waiting a bit. The virtual feet are lost. It may be that your 400 mm wouldn't let you move back, which I understand. Perhaps waiting and trying for a lower angle might have solved the issues mentioned, but I understand catching the photo you can, rather than waiting for an action that was or wasn't going to take place.

Belated welcome to the Wildlife Gallery Daniel. Super cute subject and you appear to have got relatively close. Some of the technical concerns have allready been raised. Might have been worth considering a wider focal length for more space and habitat all around while minimizing the obscuring effect of the vegetation in front of the fawn. So many times I have used my telephoto on wildlife and later preferred those photos I took with a 70-200 or a wide angle showing the subject in its environment.
I'll repeat Phil's suggestion to feel free to share your thoughts and opinions on the photos in the gallery.

This is a lovely subject and the bit of catch light is significant in giving a sense of life. It is too bad there was so much competing detail and vegetation in the line of view.
