Common Snipe
Been doing a little re processing on some older stuff.
This was in the late afternoon sun so Iv,e left it a bit dark to bring out that last bit of sunlight. Interested to see what people think

Excellent image, John. A simple composition that focuses on the bird but still gives clues to it's habitat. You really had some nice light here that exposed the bird nicely and the mud. Lots of great feather detail on the bird. Well done.

I find the light here quite pleasing. The detail in the snipe looks great. Overall, one of the better snipe pictures I've seen.
