Peacock

A peacock b/f feeding on buddleia - the only flower of interest to it on the day I took this shot. Though the light was harsh, it was a joy to have its company for a while.

Canom 7D, Tamron 55-200mm lens @ 200mm, 1/250 sec @ f9, ISO 400, hh, cropped about 15-20 %.

Excellent image of the beautiful bf, Ian. I like the way you captured the markings on the wings so well. The bf really shows well, and the floral perch adds nice bg color.
