This is our very last day lily of the season. We rarely have any blooming after mid-June so this year was a real aberration. Hope all of them get strong over the fall and winter. I could get used to having these beauties through most of the summer. All comments welcome. >=))>

Beautiful, Bill! Love the color of the lily and how you have contrasted it with a perfectly blurred green background. Excellent image.

Lovely capture of the centre and the petal textures, Bill - and an attractive colour combination. I like your dof here very much, especially the fading of the stem.

Bill, beautiful sharp & vivid flower but, for me the BG is just too bright &/or saturated. Personal taste, i guess.

Perfect dof management, Bill, with superb detail throughout the front and center of lily, including all of the stamens, and a pleasing bg. I agree with Roger that the bg is a bit neon, but it certainly makes a nice contrast to the lily. I especially like the glow in the throat and upper stem.

The comp, bg and detail are spot on but the colors really have an impact!! Beautifully done!
