I attempt some like these when I am bored and there are no good subjects to shoot. Please see Large Version HERE.

This is the stem of a Coneflower plant shot through foliage and blooms.

ND300s, AFD200mm F/4 Micronikkor @ F/4.5 (wide open), 1/60 Sec, ISO200 and Tripod.

Beautiful, I hope you get bored often !! Love the rainbow bokeh and light on the little hairs on the stem !

Very nice, Ram. I love abstracts with something in focus to hold the comp together. Great combination of colors in the stem and the OOF areas. Very pleasing. Well done!

Ram, a mysterious & fantasy feel about this, all about subjective taste & interpretation. I like it, but not as a Nature image, I guess more as a fairytale structure rising out of a pink mist.
