Not exactly a summer blossom, but fully in bloom.

Taken indoors with natural light, 100-400 lens at 320mm, ISO 500, f/6.3 at 1/100 sec. I must have hand held this one, otherwise I don't know why I had to have such a high ISO and fast shutter spped.

You were confusing me until I read that this was taken indoors. You have a nice glow with this one and a beautiful color range.

Very lovely, Kathy. I like the combination of white/green/yellow in these flowers. The colors and textures of this flower show off well against the dark background. You DOF works well to have the front flower more in focus and the back flower more out of focus. Great for the challenge, even if not a summer bloom. :smile:
