This dahlia caught my eye for its shape as well as its color.

D700, 70-200/2.8, cpl, handheld; f 5, 1/125, ISO 400, -1.67 EV. Late afternoon backlight. Vignette caused by lens. Processing: NIK Viveza

Tried lightening the vignette; not too sure about leaving it as is or removing the vignette...

Catherine - What a gorgeous looking Dahlia !!. Have seen these only in competitions but not in Gardens. Like how that "ball" stands out proudly against the blue sky.

A colour palette to die for, Catherine ! Entrancing tones and a wondeful sharpness in the petals with beautifully placed oof flowers as a backdrop. Lovely image !!

Catherine: I'm not familiar with this variety of dahlia so this is a treat. I like how you have the flower arranged in the frame relative to the BG. Very nicely crafted image.>=))>
