Haven't posted here in a long while, busy finishing my thesis and no time for photography or the sorts. I started revisiting some older images I shot, reprocessing images I missed, and imporving other with new ps techniques.

Tech: 300m, f/4, 1/400 and iso 800

Love the playful pose and the eye contact. It seems a bit over-saturated on my monitor, however.

Great eye contact that draws you right to the bear.
I'll agree with the saturation

Cool shot Jorne. Precious pose and eye-contact and that al in a lovely habitat setting. Perfect DOF as well. Although I am not at my calibrated screen I do echo the comment about the saturation. The OOF BG could do with a little NR to make it appear smoother, but that is a really minor improvement to a great image. :toast:

Thank you for the comments! I think I'll have te recalibrate my monitor, because except in the bg the saturation looks fine on this screen, especially since I bearly added any saturation. The greens really are that green  Thanks for the tips!

Nice shot Jorne. I like the light and colour. To me the bear looks bored rather than shy

I am not certain about the composition, they look like a cropped photo. Perhaps a frame around might hold the image or have more of the image to the left of the photo.

I like your composition a lot Jorne. I also like the cautious facial expression. I might tone down the brightness slightly, reduce the saturation on the greens and bring up the blacks a little. The sharpening might be just a bit overdone imho. Are the bear's eyes different colors, the right eye looks like it might be blue - not used to seeing the white (sclera) of the eye to this extent in bears, or most other animals.
