Pub Decor

After a h-o-t few hours of making photos at Woodland Park, I returned to the pub, where my friends and I had lunch. While I leisurely resuscitated my dehydration with 18 oz. of icy cold pomegranite/pear juice (YUM! ) I noticed the decor around me in a way I could not while engrossed earlier in fun chit-chat.

GH3, 35-100 @ 100, handheld from my barstool. No flash.

There are specks in the mirror. I could not tell if they belonged or not, so left them in. Any thoughts on that? or anything else, much appreciated.

If the specks were on the mirror, there should be a faint double image for both. Hard to tell at this size, but I don't see any. They would have to be on the silver backing. Personally, I would clone them out.

Good eye for the shot Catherine, interesting 'pub' kinda comp
I like the 'coppery' look of the ornate frame, and mirrored lights here..
I would clone out the specks, regardless of where they belong
Well done! :toast:

I'm not sure why this shot works for me, but it does. Maybe it's the way the lamp vaguely repeats the pattern in the wallpaper?

It takes a photographer's eye to recognize this as a good shot. And, you obviously have it. Leave the specs as they define that layer the mirror is on. Excellent work.

This works for me! You did a great job handling the light and color in this. I like the glow in the frame and how the lights mimic the shape of the patterns in the wall paper.

I'd leave the specs on the mirror. My only nit is your signature on the mirror, otherwise, this well done.
