Uncommon along very limited range of coastal areas of west coast of N America

I liked the shapes and textures of the rocks, so left more "habitat" around the bird than I usually do.

Nice one, Sandy. Excellent exposure on the Oystercatcher. I agree with you on the textures of the rocks, though the upper ones are starting to blur, so I might have taken some off the top and right to decenter the bird just a bit more.

I like this one, Sandy. The rocks are a nice backdrop, and a cool bird to find. We have a few down here but I can never get anywhere near them.

Great view of this oyster catcher in it's environment. I find these guys difficult to approach much of the time.

I like your idea to include the BG rocks on this Sandy. I might be tempted to crop a touch more off the top since the blue sky is pepping in and the top rocks are OOF. I personally think it doesn't add to what you were trying to create.
